Terms and conditions and privacy policy
Please read these terms carefully before applying for membership. Using the system or submitting a membership request counts as acceptance of what is set out below.
Introduction and acceptance of the terms
These terms and conditions govern your use of the membership and subscription management system of Data Time Information Technology Co. ("the organisation"), including the public website and the member portal.
By submitting a membership request or using any part of the system, you acknowledge that you have read these terms, understood them and agreed to be bound by them.
Definitions
- “Member”: the individual or organisation holding a valid membership after the request has been accepted and the fees paid.
- “Request”: the membership request submitted through the member portal under any of the available membership types.
- “Member portal”: the online interface through which a member manages their membership, invoices and card.
- “Grace period”: the period granted after the membership expires during which the benefits do not stop, being 30 days.
Membership conditions and eligibility to apply
Acceptance of a membership request requires that the conditions specific to each type, as set out on that type's details page, are met, and that the required documents are submitted in full and are valid.
The organisation reserves the right to request further details or documents, or to reject any request that does not meet the conditions, without any obligation to state detailed reasons beyond what the rejection notice records.
Fees and payment
The fees shown on the website include value added tax at the rate approved in law. No fee is charged until the request has been accepted, and no membership is activated until payment is complete or an official exemption has been approved.
When a membership type is upgraded while it is still valid, the fee difference is calculated pro rata against the time remaining on the current subscription.
Membership renewal and the grace period
Renewal alerts are sent 60, 30 and 7 days before the membership expires. Where the membership is not renewed before the expiry date, it enters a grace period of 30 days during which the benefits remain in force.
If the grace period ends without renewal, the membership moves to the “expired” state, and it may be reactivated later by submitting a new renewal request.
Cancellation and refunds
A member may request cancellation of their membership at any time, from the member portal or by contacting the support team.
Amounts already paid are governed by a refund policy that takes account of the period of membership already used; refund requests are submitted and reviewed through the member portal.
The member's obligations
- To provide correct and up-to-date details when applying and throughout the period the membership is valid.
- To keep the member portal sign-in details confidential and not to share them with others.
- To use the membership card and its benefits in line with the purpose for which they were granted, and not to misuse them.
- To notify the organisation as soon as the card is lost or the account is suspected of being compromised.
The organisation's rights, suspension and termination
The organisation reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership where these terms are breached, where incorrect details are supplied, or where the benefits granted are misused.
The member is notified of the suspension or termination decision and its reason through the member portal or the registered contact channels.
Intellectual property
All marks, logos and content appearing on the website and in the member portal are owned by or licensed to the organisation, and may not be used without prior written permission.
Amendments to the terms
The organisation may amend these terms from time to time. Any material amendment is published on this page together with an updated last-amended date. Your continued use of the system after an amendment is taken as acceptance of it.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from their application or interpretation, unless otherwise agreed.
